A little about me.
I am a commercial legal and tax advisor based in Manama, Bahrain. Originally from Syria, I have made the Gulf my home for more than two decades, and I have spent my career in international wealth structuring and corporate advisory.
My path began with law in the region, followed by postgraduate study in the United Kingdom and an LLM in international tax and wealth structuring in the United States. Since 2011 I have been with the Sovereign Group, where today I am Managing Partner of Sovereign Trust Consultancy (Bahrain) W.L.L. and Director for the Group's operations in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

I serve as Ambassador for the Middle East of the Sovereign Art Foundation, the Sovereign Group's charitable arm. The Foundation uses the arts to support disadvantaged children, running expressive-arts programmes that help build confidence and self-esteem. I have supported its work in the region since 2014 and took on the Ambassador role in 2025.
Originally from Syria, I have lived and worked in Bahrain for over 22 years. Married, with two children, I spend most of my time between Bahrain and the wider Gulf, and I work in Arabic and English.
